Simple Amplifier
5 Watts power amplifier for 13 cm signals.
The "Simple Amplifier" features an output power of up to 5 Watts for 13 cm (2.4 GHz) band ham radio signals to be used with QO-100 for example.
The amplifier fits into commercially available aluminum housings including internal passive cooling. All HF connections are SMA sockets. The power supply should be 12V to 20V, with typically 13.8V or 20V in operation. The current consumption in PA standby is about 170 mA @ 13.8V, TX operation draws < 400mA @ 13.8V at 15 dBm input.
